Rooftop car parking at Broadway Bradford
28 January 2015
As part of the wider urban regeneration masterplan of the Bradford Council, Westfield and Meyer Bergman will open their latest shopping centre 'Broadway' in Bradford in 2015.
Broadway, designed by architect Hadfield Cawkwell Davidson, is a development of the 10 acre site at the heart of the City Centre and will complement and enhance the existing retail offer to position Bradford as a major shopping destination for the region. Broadway will become the 4th largest metropolitan district in England.
On completion, the development will total 570,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space. In addition to Debenhams, M&S and Next, more than 70 shops, restaurants and cafes will bring together a dynamic mix of high street fashion, food and lifestyle brands. A new multi store car park will be located on the roof. Five levels of car parking will create 1300 spaces.
Zoontjens will realise the parking levels just above the shops with the Pardak®110 system. This system absorbs movements in the substructure, distributes the forces during vehicle movement and reduces contact noise. In total we will install more than 13,000 m² from February until May 2015.
