Zoontjens has developed a unique system to raise rooftop paving, especially in response to the trend towards large format slabs for rooftop terraces: DNS®Large. This system is based on the same principle as DNS®, but the DNS® tube with a diameter of 16 cm provides a larger surface across which pressure forces are distributed.
The combination of a strong pressure distribution foot and disc (24.5 cm in diameter) and the DNS® tube provides a stable and taut fix for large format rooftop slabs. It also facilitates rainwater drainage.
When applying DNS®Large, we determine the joint width depending on the actual slab. We have developed four different sizes of spacers for this purpose: 3, 4, 5 or 6 mm. DNS®Large must be used with slabs bigger than 60 x 60 cm or if the level has to be elevated by more than 40 cm. DNS®Large can elevate and level the slab surface to a height of up to one metre.
