At Frankfurt airport, a 6,000 m2 parking roof was built to accompany the newly-built pier A-Plus. Any construction project at an airport involves complex fire safety regulations. To ensure compliance, intensive discussions were held in advance with the future client and the planning office.
Pardak®110 met all the requirements. Following an intensive planning phase, a start was made in August 2011 on waterproofing the roof. From mid-September onwards, the Pardak®110 system could be laid. The 6000 m2 area was completed in a record time of less than four weeks, using the Pardak® slabs.
