Science Center NEMO, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Science Center NEMO in Amsterdam is perhaps one of the most iconic buildings of the Dutch capital. The science museum was designed by Renzo Piano in 1997. The management now had the desire to increase the accessibility of its roof. Allard Architecture has therefore redesigned the roof and also added a restaurant with rooftop  terrace.

The new rooftop terrace was installed with the Dreen® Robusto slab of 1 by 1 meter, placed on DNS® Large. This slab is suitable for public rooftop terraces and fits well with the look of the building and the rest of the roof. Obviously, at 22 meters height the view is spectacular!
