De Weef
Helmond

3 buildings, 67 apartments and 1600 m2 of outdoor space. Combine this with luxury, organic lines and an abundance of green and you have De Weef in Helmond.

SPACE FOR GREEN

The design of De Weef in Helmond is the result of intensive collaboration between VFO architects, Buro Lubbers and BAM Wonen. The project is designed to integrate perfectly in the green environment, creating a link between past, present and future. The result is a combination of three organically shaped iconic buildings, all of different heights.

EXTENSIVE OUTDOOR SPACE

In total there are 67 owner-occupier apartments, of varying sizes. What they all have in common is a luxury finish, a private parking spot and extensive outdoor space. Green has been made a key element of that outdoor space, too.

ATTRACTIVE LOOK AND FEEL

The architect opted for slabs on the terraced areas. BAM Wonen went one step further, selecting Dreen®Ceramica by Zoontjens. Here, the work was completed in the colour Boost Pro Clay, a warm colour from our concrete range, that matches the look and feel of the building.

ORGANIC SHAPES

The challenge in this project was that the shape of the rooftop terraces was different in every building and on every floor. Nevertheless, thanks to a well-prepared laying plan for each building, floor and terrace, we were able to ensure clean-lined and attractively laid slabs throughout the project. Where necessary, we even followed the organic shape of the building by sawing the slabs in curved patterns.
